They feel like an upgrade from the original for the most part; Materials and traction look and feel better than what we saw on the original Flytrap. Cushion on the other hand… not so much.

These affordable Nike basketball shoes boast a curved outsole that wraps up the sides to provide all-angle traction. At the forefoot, a Nike Zoom Air unit provides energy return for a springy and responsive feel.
The Kyrie Flytrap 2 is also equipped with a forefoot band for enhanced support and containment while quickly changing directions.
Cushion. The Nike Kyrie Flytrap II has a foam midsole equipped with Nike Zoom cushioning. This cushioning setup offers a responsive and springy feel underfoot.
Traction. The Kyrie Flytrap 2 is designed with a curved outsole to keep up with Irving’s dizzying display of jab steps, spin moves, and crossovers. The curved outsole wraps up the sides to provide traction in every direction.
Length and Width. According to reports, these low-top Nike basketball shoes fit true to size but are a bit narrow at the forefoot. Reviewers advise ordering your real size when purchasing these shoes online.
Lockdown. The Nike Kyrie Flytrap II has a lace-up closure with a flexible forefoot band for a snug fit. The flexible band also helps with containment as you quickly change your pace and move in all directions. A padded collar and external heel clip keep the ankle locked in while you breakdown the opponent’s defenses.
