Explode to the basket with the Adidas Explosive Bounce. The shoes feature a breathable mesh upper and molded heel piece that keep the foot stable while driving and cutting to the hoop. The energy return of Bounce cushioning helps you push the pace while the clock winds down.
Cushion. Featuring full-length Bounce cushioning, which is one of Adidas’ versatile foams, the Adidas Explosive Bounce brings all-day energized comfort to any sport.
Bounce provides enhanced comfort and flexibility. It offers a good balance between impact protection and court feel.
At the midfoot, Bounce cushioning is raised for torsional support. This setup provides a seamless heel-to-toe transition.
Traction. A very organic coral-like traction pattern covers the Explosive Bounce’s rubber outsole. The rubber is non-marking, and the traction pattern is soft and pliable; ensuring excellent grip on the hardwood.
Length and Width. The Adidas Explosive Bounce runs a bit long. Wide-footers can stay true to size; narrow and normal footers may need to go down half a size. It is still best to try them out before purchase.
Lockdown. The Adidas Explosive Bounce’s lacing setup is similar to the Crazy Explosive’s. They have similarly positioned eyelets: three at the midfoot, and two at the top of the TPU heel wrap.
The three midfoot eyelets are anchored to the base of the shoe; keeping the foot contained during sharp cuts and lateral movements.
A molded heel piece wraps around the ankle; pulling it back and locking it in place.
Adidas utilizes a mesh upper for the Explosive Bounce. This material is soft and flexible, providing maximum breathability and a comfortable fit. The shoe’s lacing system is also reinforced by TPU for added durability.
Even with a mid-top design, the ankle collar of the Adidas Explosive Bounce is flexible enough to allow a full range of motion. Ankle support and stability is maintained by the shoe’s sturdy heel counter.
