With a sock-like construction to it, the men's and women's Adidas POD-S3.1 shoe hugs the foot when worn for a snug fit. A lace closure system can be found on the shoe, letting the user choose just how tight or how loose they want their sneaker to be. It comes in sizes for men and women.

Matching the low top with jeans, shorts, and joggers for bottoms, and hoodies, and long shirts for uppers can provide the wearer a pop of spunk in personality. The sneaker still works perfectly well with jeans though, tapered ones, ripped ones, or skinny ones, and can be paired with a nice polo upper or button down shirt for a business casual look.
The Adidas POD-S3.1 low top has a design that gives the Adidas Originals line justice but its good to take note that the notability in features with this sneaker doesn’t solely come from its looks; it also comes from the technology that Adidas has added to it.
The Boost heel maximizes comfort and brings the full experience with every stride. A Pointe of Deflection Bridge (POD) allows for stability to mix perfectly with flexibility in the podular sole and lets the torsion of the foot come naturally. Meanwhile, a high rebound EVA forefoot allows there to be comfort from heel to toe.

Whenever the brand comes to mind, it’s as if automatically, one can conjure up to mind a good number and variety of fabulous shoes from this well-loved brand. One of these sneakers, a new release nonetheless, is the Adidas POD-S3.1. Revealed in early 2018 and subsequently released on June 16, the Adidas POD-S3.1 is a modern Adidas Originals silhouette long-awaited for its release by fans of the Three Stripes. It has a futuristic detail to it that many are digging and a bold Boost heel that also has fans giving it a nod of approval.
The upper of the low top is made from a knit mesh with suede. Meanwhile, a tonal three-stripe branding can be seen on the midfoot with a strap from the throat of the sneaker down to the medial side of the midfoot also visible. There’s also a heel badge and plastic pieces on the lateral and medial midfoot of the sneaker to add a little jazz to the overall look of the Adidas POD-S3.1 shoes. However, the pièce de résistance has to be the two-piece outsole; TPU in the front and a full yet aesthetically appealing white Boost on the back that is held together by the jazzy plastic pieces mentioned above. Well thought out and well designed, the Adidas POD-S3.1 is a definite great addition to any sneakerhead’s collection for sure.
- To clean the sneaker, make sure that a soft bristled brush is used. Spot clean it and let it air dry. Do not machine wash nor put in dryer.
