The Inov-8 F-Lite 195 v2 is a new incarnation of the brand’s first and well-acclaimed cross-training shoe. Just like the original version, the update caters to all sorts of intensive workouts, including CrossFit, HIIT, weightlifting, and running.

The F-Lite 195 v2 inherits the Sticky rubber outsole of its predecessor. This compound is created with the use of climbing rubber to ensure grip of various kinds of surfaces.

The shoe shares a similar outsole pattern with the other F-Lite models. It is engineered to be flexible to accommodate all sorts of training movements.

The Rope-Tec is also present on the midfoot. It extends up to hug the lateral and medial sides of the midsole. This compound is created to be durable to resist the abrasion associated with rope climbing exercises.

The Inov-8 F-Lite 195 v2 features the Powerflow midsole in place of the IMEVA. This new foam is designed to be firmer in the heel to deliver a stable lifting platform and absorb shock 10% more efficiently than the standard EVA. At the same time, its forefoot section is created to provide 15% more responsive cushioning.

The midsole have a 4-mm heel-to-toe drop as well as a low stack height. This allows for a flat disposition of the foot and a more sensitive contact with the ground. It also minimizes the chance of wobbling.

The second iteration of the F-Lite 195 makes use of a one-piece nylon mesh upper. This thin, see-through material is lightweight and breathable. It also flexes easily, accommodating each movement of the foot.

The Met-Cradle makes sure that the upper renders sufficient lateral support. Its PU underlays brace the foot on both sides, keeping the foot firmly in place.

Stabilizing the rearfoot is the integrated heel counter. It minimizes the chance of wobbling and accidental heel slippage during agile workouts and weightlifting.

The new model employs metal grommets in the eyelets. They offer extra reinforcement to prevent the upper material from fraying.
