Nike offers the Air Max Motion 2 in both genders' sizing. Men can pick from sizes 6 to 15 while women can pick from sizes 5 to 12 US in medium width. The brand added a thin, low-profile tongue unit with a slightly cushioned collar for added comfortable fit. Meanwhile, the traditional lacing system used and low-top collar provides an adjustable fit and mobility to its wearers.
Adding another iteration to Nike's Air Max kicks, the brand unveiled the Nike Air Max Motion 2 that features no-sew overlays on its well-ventilated mesh upper, giving this kick a minimalist look for the casual fashion. Nike offers this in various fashionable hues that will surely exalt one's usual getup.
For women, they may pick from a wide range of hues available in the market. Few of the popular ones are the Black/White, Black/Rose Gold/Thunder Grey, Grey/Black/Teal, or Blue Void/Plum Chalk/Plum Dust. Meanwhile, men can choose among the colors presented in the market, such as Black/White, Black/University Red White/University Blue, Black/Game Royal/White, or Grey/Red.
Many users love pairing their Nike Air Max Motion 2 with a laidback outfit, such as tattered jeans or shorts with plain tees and a cap. For an athletic ensemble, some would match their kicks with a monochromatic tracksuit.
The Nike Air Max Motion 2 features elements stirred from the popular Nike Air Max 270, unveiled just recently. It has the u-shape Air-Sole unit found on its heel that provides added underfoot cushioning while enhancing the visual impact. Meanwhile, Nike added a large heel clip made of TPU which was also drawn from the AM 270 silhouette. This striking feature further enhances the laidback, modern look of this model.
The Nike Air Max Motion was launched in 2013 as an addition to the exciting Air Max lineup of Nike. The first shoe that used the Air Max technology was unveiled in 1978 in the mold of Air Tailwind. In the 80s, during his visit to Paris, Tinker Hatfield thought of creating a shoe design that displays the Air technology.
In their attempt to come up with a silhouette that is more noticeable compared to other vibrantly colored with bold pattern kicks found everywhere, Nike and Hatfield decided to expose their Air sole tech through a small hole found on the heel. In 1987, together with Nike's first television commercial, the Swoosh introduced the Air Pack that includes the first silhouette that displays the Air-Sole unit called the Air Max 1.
Through the years, the visible air window found on the sole was revamped with different frame colors that gives a fresh look to the usual rubber kicks. This model has been reinvented endlessly, making it a highly adaptable look for various generations.
More than thirty years and the Air Max silhouette is still considered one of the starkest silhouettes in the arsenal of the Swoosh. It has been re-introduced, retro-ed, and revamped countless of times giving modern execution while keeping the classic details of the renowned piece.
One modern reinterpretation of the Air Max that made waves in the fashion and athletic world is the Air Max 270 unveiled in 2018. This shoe inspired Nike to come up with a follow-up iteration of the Air Max Motion by blending breathable mesh upper with no-sew overlays and dubbed it as the Air Max Motion 2.
