The Injected Phylon foam adds a layer of flexible cushioning that offers a lightweight feel while the low-profile Zoom Air unit delivers responsive cushioning.

Traction. Built for quick directional changes, the Nike Zoom Assersion features a banked midsole that is designed to provide support and stability when hitting hard angles on the court.
The durable rubber outsole has a micro-traction pattern that wraps around the sides of the midsole to increase traction when making hard cuts.
The shoe’s traction is designed to help engage every part of your foot, enabling you to step confidently in any direction.
Length and Width. The Nike Zoom Assersion is advertised as true to size. However, the shoes reportedly run a little long. Normal- and narrow-footers are advised to go down half a size. Wide-footers can stay true to size.
Lockdown. An engineered mesh forefoot band works with the Flywire cables to adapt to your multidirectional movements while maintaining lockdown.
A plush foam padding provides stability and support during lateral movements. It also offers a comfortable fit around the ankle collar.
The Nike Zoom Assersion’s upper is made of lightweight textile and some synthetic materials that offer breathable comfort during intense play. Fuse overlays add durability on high-wear areas.
