It does make some sacrifices to accomplish so much – it’s heavier than a running shoe and not as supportive as a hiking boot – but we think those tradeoffs don’t outweigh the pure utility of having one adventure shoe to do it all.

The XA Pro 3D GTX has a standard running shoe length. The forefoot is semi-wide, comfortably accommodating those with slightly wide forefoot. The midfoot gives a narrow fit while the heel delivers a snug fit. The toe box has a medium height. This shoe is available in standard D and B widths for men’s and women’s respectively.
This waterproof running shoe utilizes the brand’s Contagrip technology that is designed to deliver a great combination of grip and durability. It gives impressive grip on varied terrains. The All-Mountain traction provides unmatched traction on hard and rocky terrain.
The midsole uses the Dual Density EVA that provides underfoot cushioning at the same time helps in reducing or controlling overpronation. The injected EVA that extends in full length also delivers durable underfoot cushioning for a comfortable and responsive ride.
It also features the 3D Advanced Chassis that is designed to attenuate shock for heel strikers, gives stability for a smoother heel to toe transition and gives necessary protection whenever needed for a high running performance.
The Salomon XA Pro 3D GTX features a waterproof yet, breathable and comfortable upper coverage. The Gore-Tex membrane is designed to give reliable protection on extreme weather conditions.
Together with the anti-debris mesh upper is the gusseted tongue of the shoe that prevents debris from entering the shoe while running. It works hand in hand with the protective rubber toe cap that keeps the toes safe from stone bruising while running on trails.
The shoe also comes with an asymmetrical quick lacing system that facilitates the efficient entry and exit of the shoe and the OrthoLite Sockline reduces the odor and keeps foot free from moisture. The sockliner also gives added underfoot cushioning.
